Maggie's Book
Maggie helps at our Monday Compass Dance group, and has written a book with friends.  Click here for info.

Price increase
Unfortunately we have decided that we need to increase the session fees from £3 to £4 per session.  Our reserves have decreased, so we have taken this decision to enable us to continue to subsidise sessions, and to make the reserves stretch further.
The increase will apply from 1 April 2016.

If anyone would like to discuss this increase please contact Susan Perrin.

Annual membership now due.

Your annual membership donation is now due - we ask for at least £10  which gives you access to emails and  information about club events, and other activities that are around, and allows you to attend any of the activities that the club organises for a whole year!

The money will go towards our overheads - annual liability insurance, web site hosting fees, printing, and postage.

If you have changed your address/phone number/emergency contacts or any other details in the last year can you please let us know so we can update our database.  if you want to receive a printed copy of  the information held, please let us know.

Money is due in by 10 November and we will get in a lot more money if you can pay online through scheme which is described below.  We are sure you appreciate it takes a lot of money to run the club and keep the activity fees so low, so we need any extra money we can get.  Last year the scheme generated an extra £160 after fees.

We operate a family scheme which enables the tax payer in the family to make a declaration enabling us to claim gift aid and get back the tax paid.  All family members are then covered.  If you can pay online, claim gift aid there, but if you can't you need to sign a declaration for us so we can claim gift aid manually -

Grow my Tenner – earn an extra £10 for the club FROM 13TH OCTOBER (not before!)

If you can pay online, please read on . . .

From Tuesday the 13th October at 10am,  one-time donations will be matched pound-for-pound up to £10, and new monthly donations up to £10 per month for 3 months.

With Gift Aid, a one-time donation of £10 made through during Grow Your Tenner will generate £21.67  but only if you pay through the Local Giving web site.

To do this you need to:

  1. go to
  2. click on Donate Now to make a one time donation.
  3. Choose the amount you want to donate (the max we can double is £10 so although you are welcome to pay more, we will still only get £10 extra)
  4. Enter your payment details or pay via paypal
  5. Add gift aid and a comment to your donation if you are a uk tax payer (the reason we are offering family membership is to gain the maximum we can from gift aid), worth 25% of your donation.

the scheme also has the facility to accept monthly direct debits, and will match up to £10 per person per month for 3 months.

This scheme starts on 13th October at 10 am, and finishes 18th November at 5 pm so please pay as soon as you can within that time frame.  Outside that time frame money will still be taken but we won't get the extra £10.

If you choose not to pay online and take advantage of the scheme, that is fine, but let us know if you can claim gift aid so we can claim manually.
