Multi Sports Club for people aged 16 + with learning disabilities

Our sponsored walk will be on Saturday 22nd June, starting at 1.00pm. It is a joint walk with QE2 Activity Centre and will be meeting up at the centre.

For those who come to Blue Apple on Saturday mornings and wish to join in the walk, Jen will be at the Centre between 12.00 and 1.00 so can supervise anyone who wants to stay after Blue Apple to eat their lunch (packed lunches required please).

There will also be a barbecue at the end of the walk with burgers, hot dogs and drinks at reasonable prices.

Please see the attached sponsor form. We're sharing this event with QE2 Activity Centre so you can choose where the sponsor money goes - either to Multi Sports or QE2 or both.

Annual membership donations 2024

This is our annual subscriptions appeal.  We suggest a donation of £12 or more.  This will add you to our mailing list, give you regular updates on our activities, and contribute to our running costs (insurance, post, web site etc)
Family membership enables the tax payer in the family to let us claim gift aid.  All family members are included and welcome to attend sessions, subject to availability and payment of session fees.
Please add the membership in the name of a family member who pays tax in order for us to be able to claim.
You should be given a form that has been completed with your details, and a tax declaration form.  We are handing this out over the next week. Please return signed forms to us with payment or noting that payment was made online.
Please check your details carefully, and return to us.  Subscription donations can be made by cheque, cash or online direct to our bank.  Donating through the link above will mean we may be charged a fee, but also means they will give us a list for gift aid claims so saves time and effort.
Any questions just ask.  Thank you for your support.

Brockenhurst Games 2023

On Saturday 7th October we attended the Brockenhurst Games. Our members had lots of fun doing all the activities and they ended up coming first place at the event. Congrats to Luke, Craig, Adam, Billy, Aiden and Mollie for doing so well! Thanks to Brockenhurst Mencap Gateway Club for inviting us once again.

Fund Raising success

Brilliant effort from Billy Lethbridge, who presented a cheque for £571 to the club on 4th September for funds raised during a mammoth 3 hours of dancing.  We have already bought some props for our Monday dance group.  Thank you Billy and also to Chloe, Phil, Aiden, James and Kate for joining in and supporting the dance-athon

Matthew Jones raised an amazing £548 for us running in the Great Bristol run.  Thanks very much - the Thursday group is very grateful, and will be using some of the money to buy lacrosse kit so we can try out a new sport.

Phil's Fund Raising

Many thanks to Phil for fund raising a massive £396 for the club. He did this by getting sponsorships for running in the Southampton Marathon. We are very grateful, and already have purchased a new set of footballs for our Friday night football group with some of this money. The remainder will go to support funding our sessions so we can keep our fees as low as possible.
Thank you Phil. Phil presented the cheque to Sarah-Jane Davies at the Monday night dance group performance on 26th June 2023.
